Our next stop is the tropical forest of INBioparque in Heredia. Connect with nature and learn about the research and conservation work that’s taking place in Costa Rica. Walk through the trails of this welcoming park and learn about the diverse flora and fauna that is unique to Costa Rica. Expert guides will lead the way through all the ecosystems represented in our country.  Expect animal sightings too from frogs, boas, turtles, iguanas, sloths and other native species.

Tour and taste at our sustainable coffee plantation.

Continue your day discovering the secrets behind Costa Rica’s most important agricultural product: coffee. A short trip from the park will take you to the Café Britt coffee plantation in Barva de Heredia were you’ll experience our Coffee Tour. Our coffee experts will guide you from our nursery, to our roastery explaining the history of this “golden bean” and the process that turns the cherry into that exquisite brew you enjoy every morning.

Sit back in our colorful garden, listen to music and savor an exquisite buffet lunch at our onsite Don Próspero Restaurant. Our cuisine, made with local ingredients has a contemporary twist on traditional Costa Rican cuisine.

Visit our factory store, which offers the best of Costa Rica from our freshly roasted gourmet coffee to chocolate to local and unique art and traditional crafts. Taste a wide sample of Café Britt coffees, Costa Rica’s best export reserve. Stop at the chocolate tasting station and enjoy unique sweets from guava to passion fruit chocolates and the most cherished - chocolate covered coffee beans.
