Britt Coffee Tour

Frequently Asked Questions

YOU’VE GOT QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS.

The Classic Coffee Tour is 1.5 hours long, not including transportation times.

We offer transportation from the main hotels in the metro area at specific times.

The journey through our plantation and facilities is about 400 meters (0.24 miles), and therefore is perfect for people of all ages and physical abilities.

You can take as many pictures as you want during your visit. However, as per our Copyright Policies, video footage is not allowed at any point of the tour.

All our tours are in English, Spanish, or bilingual, depending on each groups’ profiles. If visitors require translation to a third language and bring their own translator, we will happily accommodate a private coffee tour.

We’ve assigned an hour for lunch at our on-site restaurant Don Próspero so you can enjoy the colorful gardens and the fresh breeze of our sustainable plantation. If you traveled to Britt Coffee Tour on your own, you’re more than welcome to stay as long as you like and savor all the different Britt coffees, chocolates, and treats we offer.

Our buffet offers an assortment of dishes made with local ingredients in a contemporary fashion. Enjoy a salad bar, soup of the day, main dish with four different side dishes, dessert, natural fruit drink, iced tea, and, of course, delicious Café Britt gourmet coffee.

Light snacks such as sandwiches, pastries, and, of course, a full assortment of hot or cold coffee beverages are always available in our coffee bar for you to enjoy.

Our dress code is simple: something very comfy and casual. Heredia can get a bit chilly during the rainy season, so a warm jacket and long pants could do. During this season, we also have ponchos and umbrellas available if drops start pouring down at any time during the tour.

The most comfy pair you have! Tennis shoes or sandals can do. We recommend leaving out the high heels so that you can best enjoy your trip.

Britt Coffee Tour is located on the road to Barva de Heredia, 400 meters north and 400 meters west of the Auto Mercado. | View in Google Maps
